Hillside Honor Society

Students are invited to participate in the Hillside Honor Society. Honor Society will meet on the first Thursday of the month in the library at 12:30

Library League
A club for kids who love the library!  Library League meets about once a month to talk about books, share upcoming library news and events, look at the latest book arrivals, and have a treat. No sign-up or membership is required.

Lit Lunches
Once a quarter, the Hillside Library hosts a book club lunch. Lit Lunch titles are announced at least four weeks in advance. Students who read the book and then sign up for the Lit Lunch with Mr. Taylor get to attend a special lunch in the library to discuss the book.

About once a month, Jen from the Boise Public Library comes to talk about books and share some of her favorites. ‚Äč

Science Bowl

National Science Bowl® (NSB) is a highly competitive science education and academic event among teams of high school and middle school students who compete in a fast-paced verbal forum to solve technical problems and answer questions in all branches of science and math. Regional science bowl championship teams receive an all-expenses paid trip to compete at the national event. Go to http://science.energy.gov/wdts/nsb and see Mrs. K for more details about Hillside's Science Bowl team. Come to Room 108 during 9th period and occasionally after school.

Unity Club

Meetings will be held on Wednesdays, during both lunches. The Unity Club meets during first lunch and second lunch. The club will meet in the large conference room across the hall from the Main Office.
