I have been teaching music in the Boise School district for 2 years.This is my first year at Hillside Junior High as the band director. 

I went to college at Boise State university where I performed in many ensembles as a saxophonist. I have performed with many professional groups as well including the Boise Philharmonic, the Boise Modern Jazz Orchestra, the Boise Saxophone Quartet, and many others. 

In 2009 I joined the Army National Guard as a Saxophonist in the 25th Army band. I am currently still serving in the guard in addition to teaching here at Hillside.

I maintain a studio of saxophone students around the treasure valley, some of which have appeared in all state solo competition, all state honor band, and other audition only groups.

I am excited to be here at Hillside and to share my love of music with students.
