Hillside Honor Society
You have to have a 3.6 cumulative GPA average or higher, to be academically eligible for membership. You must also receive good citizenship recommendations from your teachers. Please understand that citizenship, leadership, good character, honorable behavior, and service to community and school are equally important; good grades are not the only qualification. As a Hillside Honor Society member, students will be expected to attend monthly lunchtime meetings, complete a minimum of six hours of school and community service per semester, and submit write-ups of their service experiences. Students who maintain these requirements will be invited to continue and be inducted into Hillside’s Honor Society.
